We had our first EFIL session, the 'Ice Breaker'. It was better than expected, yeah to be honest I enjoyed it.

Today I had to restart my computer after 50 days of constant running. It was painful to do but I didn't have a choice, I couldn't come up with a better approach. It was a very weird bug, I was trying to write some tests with JUnit using eclipse IDE. And then I forgot the shortcut to switch between tabs, I kind of felt like it was something alt+F5 so I tried it few times with no success, then I tried alt + F1 and so on, at some point suddenly my eclipse window disappeared and the wallpaper changed to default Debian 10 wallpaper.
I didn't expect it, and I have never seen something like that before. So I tried some stuff like observing running processes with 'top' command in a terminal. Here in my computer doing stuff like that very easy, because I run Debian 10 with i3 wm. But originially I installed Debian 10 with XFCE desktop environment. But then installed i3 window manager on top of it. So if you know about i3 window manager, it's a keyboard based window manager, so with this you won't need a mouse at all. Oh and I can use 10 virtual desktops at the same time, or may be more. For now I have configured to use only 10 virtual desktops. So whatever happened if the whole thing is not stuck, then it's pretty easy to do stuff on my setup.
So as I said before, I observed running processes but I couldn't find anything suspicious. But eclipse wasn't running, so now I at this point I am pretty sure eclipse isn't the one giving me issues. But still in my desktop no.03 there was something running, but it just took space only didn't show a thing. I don't know if you understand what I am trying to say. In i3 windows manager if something is running it takes space automatically and they are automatically aligned and resized. So in this case what happened was it took some space in desktop no.03 for nothing, so it was definite that there was something going on.
So I was just messing around for a little longer and I remembered that I could see if how big this running app really is. Actually right now I have two displays connected one laptop screen with one external monitor. So I enabled floating window made, floating window mode is something that makes a windows in i3 wm into a floating window, like in windows and other normal desktop environments. So after I enabled floating window mode I can see if how big this working application really is. So I enabled it and moved it around, and for my surprise it was so long that it took the size of the both screens. And the most surprising thing was the application was a XFCE desktop! Somehow by accident I have started an XFCE desktop as a separate application in i3 window manager. As it's different from other normally application that run on i3, I couldn't kill or exit it. I could have tried killing some random processes but as it was just unnecessary risk, I had to go ahead and restart the computer. So I can just boot back into i3 wm. So that's what I did.
And everything was normal and working fine, and I tried doing the same thing again to see if I can initialize that XFCE desktop again, but now it doesn't work. May be I did something stupid in last 50 days that caused this glitch.
So by the way if you wonder why I use something like Debian with i3 wm that only a very few people use, it's because I like how fast I can do things with this setup and it is absolutely light weight, I mean light weight my idle ram usage is like 160MBs! So I think a setup like this is worth it if you care doing what you want with your computer. Yes there may be some weird bugs and glitches but still, this is far more superior than operating systems like windows.

And today was a much more tense day than yesterday. There were some more issues that I am not comfortable writing here.
